'Terre di Perseto' is placed among the Chianti Classico rolling hills, on the road linking the village of San Casciano in Val di Pesa to the village of Greve in Chianti, in the oldest and most appreciated area for the production of Chianti Classico wines and extra-virgin olive oils.

Our estate covers a total area of about 40 hectares, of which about 20 hectares are covered with vineyards, 6 hectares are planted with olive-trees and the rest is covered with woods.

The company was founded by Metello Sabatini on 1958, while today is led by his grandsons Niccolò and Daniel, who have took over the family wine-making tradition with passion and dedication:

"Since three generations, we produce - with great determination, passion and pride - wines made exclusively from our vineyards and our lands, continuing the family tradition".

Terre di Perseto's vineyards cover about 20 hectares and are ideally located for sun exposure as well as soil quality. They are placed at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level, facing South-West. The grapes grown are: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo, Syrah, Montepulciano and Trebbiano.

The nature of this soils is called 'limestone/Alberese type', a very draining soil with a rich presence of mineral salts, which contribute into giving our wines elegance, roundness on the palate and a unique character.

Our wines express the history of a traditional craftsmanship and family work and are characterized by elegance, perfume and pleasantness on the palate.
