Handcrafted wines

Terre di Perseto is located on Chianti Classico rolling hills between San Casciano in Val di Pesa and Mercatale, one of the oldest and most renowned areas of Chianti Classico and extra-virgin olive oil production.

The farm covers a total area of about 47 hectares of which 25 are planted with vines, 3 are planted with olive groves and 11 with woods.

The company was founded by Metello Sabatini, and today it is run by the nephews Niccolò and Daniel who continue the family tradition with passion and dedication... They are an old-fashioned modest and passionate family.

For three generations we produce with great determination, ambition and pride a wine made exclusively from our vineyards and our lands, thus continuing the family tradition.

The vineyards of Terre di Perseto extend for 25 hectares and they are splendid for exposure and soil. They are located at an altitude between 250 and 300 m. s.l.m. and they are mainly exposed to the South-West. The grapes grown are: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo, Syrah, Montepulciano and Trebbiano.

The nature of our soils is of limestone type Alberese, very draining with a rich presence of skeleton, or round stone.

The wines obtained express the story of a craft and family work. They are characterized by elegance, typicality and pleasantness.
