Florentine Cake


2 eggs
7 tablespoons of sugar
7 tablespoons of extra virgin olive-oil "Terre di Perseto"
10 tablespoons of flour
1 sachet of baking powder
1 grated and squeezed orange
Icing sugar


Work the eggs with the sugar. Add the extra virgin olive-oil, the grated and squeezed orange, the flour and the sifted yeast. Mix everything until you get an homogeneous consistency.

Pour the mixture into a buttered rectangular baking pan sprinkled with breadcrumbs or flour.

Bake at 180 Celsius degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
Once the cake is cooled, sprinkle it with icing sugar.
