Traditional Carnival "Cenci"


3 eggs
½ kg of flour
60 g of butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 grated orange
1 coffee-cup of Vin Santo DOC "Terre di Perseto"
Powdered sugar


Soften the butter at room temperature. Mix all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture. Once ready, put it in the fridge for at least half an hour.

Roll out the dough thinly and, with a knife, cut out strips of about 10 cm x 3 cm. Fry the strips in plenty of oil until they get golden brown.
