Carnival "Cenci"


3 eggs
½ kg of flour
60 g of butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 grated orange
1 coffee cup of vin santo
Powdered sugar


Soften the butter at room temperature. Mix all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture. Once ready, put it in the fridge for half an hour.

Roll out the dough in a thin sheet and with the knife cut it into strips of about 10 cm by 3. Fry in plenty of oil until they get golden brown, it’s depending on the thickness of the dough.
