WINE CELLARS & PRODUCTION METHODS

We focus on quality and excellence to offer authentic and unique wines, while fully respecting the environment.

In 2010 we undertook a total renovation of our vineyards and cellars, in order to innovating our production processes through the adoption of integrated agricultural technologies and techniques.

The grape-harvest is exclusively carried out by hand. Only this slow, ancient and scrupulous method allows a careful grapes' selection.

The vinification is carried out according to the traditions of the Chianti Classico area, respecting all the rules laid down by the corresponding production disciplinary, which establishes the requirements necessary for a wine to bear the denomination "D.O.C.G. Chianti Classico" (Chianti Classico Denomination of Controlled & Guaranteed Origin). In addition, all fermentation, storage, ageing and bottling processes are taking place following the natural path of vinification and winemaking.

All our wines are vinified in stainless steel vats until the end of the malolactic fermentation. They are then refined and aged in steel or oak barrels, according to the type of wine we wish to produce.
